BKLYNBARSOAP
Rooted in Care. Made With Purpose.
BklynBarSoap is a Black woman-owned skincare company creating thoughtfully made products for sensitive, dry, and eczema-prone skin. BklynBarSoap began in 2019 with a mother searching for a gentler way to care for her son Kayden’s eczema-prone skin.
After struggling to find products that were both effective and comforting, founder Tameika Lewis began creating her own. Drawing inspiration from the natural remedies of her Barbadian heritage, she experimented with nourishing plant oils, fruits, herbs, clays, and other skin-loving ingredients.
What began as a personal solution at home grew into a purpose-driven skincare brand serving families and communities looking for a more intentional approach to everyday body care.
mumu Bath
Hi, I’m Sasha Chou, the founder of Mumu Bath. As a small, female-founded company, we’ve been on an exciting journey to create bath and body products that capture the essence of our Taiwanese heritage.
Mumu Bath was established in 2020 when my baby developed eczema at 6 months old. Faced with the challenge of finding soaps gentle enough for her, I decided to create products rooted in simplicity for the entire family.
Fragrance Republic!
Have you ever wondered what your favorite commercial perfumers could do if they had the freedom to create like our best independent perfumers? What would someone used to creating something for thousands do if they could create for hundreds? What if they could use a limited access ingredient or more fully explore an idea, or ingredient, they were personally interested in? Until recently that question could only be answered by those perfumers taking the financial risk of creating their own line. With the advent of the Fragrance Republ!c these perfumers have the chance to create a small limited edition for a community of aficionados which allow them unlimited creative freedom.
Buchart Colbert
The space between.
Composed on the foundation of classical music.
In music, every phrase is shaped by the silence around it. Buchart Colbert is composed the same way. Not by what’s added, but through relationship to what comes next.
Fragrance materials alone are single notes. Together, they become a phrase. Some settle in tension, others resolve in harmony. Every Buchart Colbert composition opens one way, then returns you somewhere you didn’t know you’d left.
A violist and engineer, Sean Colbert formulates every fragrance in-house. Sean Cavenaugh builds the world around the collection.

Uka
uka — Quiet Ritual, Bold Heart
In Japan, beauty is not performed. It is practiced. In gestures, in rhythm, in care. At uka, we see beauty as a daily ritual—a way to restore balance, to connect with oneself, and to move through the world with grace.
What began in a small Tokyo salon, rooted in craftsmanship and harmony, has grown into a philosophy. One that blends traditional Japanese technique with modern life. Every product, every treatment, every moment with uka carries three essential values: innovation, sensitivity, and attentiveness.
We believe the smallest details hold the greatest power. That quiet routines become rituals. And that beauty is most powerful when it is personal, thoughtful, and true.
As we expand beyond Japan, we do so with deep respect—for where we come from, and for where we’re going.
We carry the spirit of Japanese craftsmanship, the warmth of our hospitality, and the subtle strength of our culture into the global conversation. Not to follow, but to offer something meaningful.
From Tokyo to the world, uka is a bridge—between tradition and innovation, simplicity and sophistication, self-care and shared care.
uka — Japanese beauty, reimagined for today.

Watabun
The rich traditions of Kyoto craftsmanship have been sublimely refined amid the passage of more than a millennium. Watabun, master weavers of the renowned Nishijin textile district in Kyoto, are the progeny of the Nishijin style of weaving.
Watabun obi, a quintessentially Japanese sash worn with kimono and yukata, embodies a pure expression of the Kyoto, and specifically, Nishijin art form. This expression is also apparent in Watabun tapestries and accessories which offer a distinctive, yet subtle Nishijin accent in applications for interior décor and fashion, respectively.
Watabun obi and tapestries are conceptualized and their weave designs are elaborately hand drawn and colored on a broadsheet of mon paper. The designs are then transferred to jacquard paper which is perforated and fitted to a loom to carry and guide threads being woven, thus rendering the designs in the weave.
In parallel, Watabun craftsmen meticulously undertake a series of intermediate steps in preparing the materials used in the weave; yarn is twisted, dyed, rolled and warped.
Modern process mechanization and computer control are not completely shunned, but Watabun hold dear and continue to apply traditional techniques to provide beautiful hand-woven fabrics commensurate with the traditions of Kyoto.
