Art Labo
ART LABO is laboratory for artists, illustrators, filmmakers, musicians, performers, other professionals and students who want to become them, etc. from Japan and the United States who, through exchange between the two countries, develop and launch “Brooklyn + Japan” ideas, services, and products that fuse the best of each. The space will also include a gallery and art residency space, where workshops and other events will be held.

A variety of special exhibitions are held in the galleries on the first and third floors. A diverse range of creators gather in the co-working space to generate new creative ideas.
The craft lab on the basement floor hosts workshops on Japanese woodworking techniques.
The rooftop is also used as an art and event space.

Brooklyn Made
The Brooklyn Made Store, brought to you by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, represents the rich diversity of “Brooklyn,” as represented by products and brands that have been conceived and made here. “Brooklyn Made” can mean many things, but universally it reflects the intricacies of a borough that has been shaped and reshaped by the ever-changing flow of different populations and cultures that have found their way to Brooklyn for over three hundred years.
The mission of the Brooklyn Made Store is to identify and promote designers, makers, and entrepreneurs, mostly from communities of color, who embody the essence of what it means to be Brooklyn, as represented through their unique products. Brooklyn Made stores at Industry City and City Point are presented to you by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, sponsored by Wells Fargo and sponsored by Brooklyn Org.

Academic Vision of Taisho University – Nurturing Four Qualities Buddhism was founded by the Buddha around 2,500 years ago, and the teachings were based on wisdom and compassion. Our academic vision, which began 90 years ago in accordance with the spirit of Mahayana Buddhism, is to nurture human resources and create prosperity in today’s world. Nihonsan
Nihonsan is one of the only brick-and-mortar shops in the U.S. solely focused on selling Japanese woodworking hand tools and hardware. we are also a community offering Japanese woodworking classes, beginners’ kits, Hinoki lumber from Japan, as well as knowledge and guidance through our staff and community partners. If we don’t have what you want, we can probably point you in the right direction to find it.

Chicago Japan Film Collective
The Chicago Japan Film Collective (CJFC) is proud to introduce Midwest to some of Japan’s most original voices and to provide unique international screening opportunities for these talented filmmakers. With a focus on work created by women, the LGBTQ community, and minority filmmakers, the festival aims to introduce Midwestern audiences to the best in independent Japanese cinema, including narrative, documentary, and animation. Through these films, we hope to connect Japanese and American cultures, create mutual understanding and respect, and expand exhibition and distribution possibilities within international, independent cinema.
