Art Laboは、日米のアーティスト、イラストレーター、映像作家、ミュージシャン、パフォーマー、その他様々な分野のプロフェッショナル、そしてそれらを志す学生などが集い、両国の交流を通して、それぞれの長所を融合させた「Brooklyn + Japan」のアイデア、サービス、プロダクトを開発・発信するラボです。ギャラリーとアーティスト・レジデンススペースも併設し、ワークショップなどのイベントを開催します。

1階と3階のギャラリーでは、様々な企画展が開催されます。コワーキングスペースには、多様なクリエイターが集い、新たなクリエイティブなアイデアを生み出しています。
地下1階のクラフトラボでは、日本の木工技術のワークショップが開催され、屋上はアートやイベントスペースとしても活用されています。

Brooklyn Made
The Brooklyn Made Store, brought to you by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, represents the rich diversity of “Brooklyn,” as represented by products and brands that have been conceived and made here. “Brooklyn Made” can mean many things, but universally it reflects the intricacies of a borough that has been shaped and reshaped by the ever-changing flow of different populations and cultures that have found their way to Brooklyn for over three hundred years.
The mission of the Brooklyn Made Store is to identify and promote designers, makers, and entrepreneurs, mostly from communities of color, who embody the essence of what it means to be Brooklyn, as represented through their unique products. Brooklyn Made stores at Industry City and City Point are presented to you by the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, sponsored by Wells Fargo and sponsored by Brooklyn Org.
Taisho University
Academic Vision of Taisho University – Nurturing Four Qualities Buddhism was founded by the Buddha around 2,500 years ago, and the teachings were based on wisdom and compassion. Our academic vision, which began 90 years ago in accordance with the spirit of Mahayana Buddhism, is to nurture human resources and create prosperity in today’s world. We aim to cultivate the following four qualities in our graduates.

A compassionate soul is obtained naturally through the process of continuing education when your aims are to achieve independence, become aware of the concept of co-existence, discover the essence of human life and develop a free and open mind. TSR-ship is the embodiment of our academic vision, which focuses daily on academic activities to foster exemplary human qualities, right bearings and attitudes, and cooperation.
Nihonsan
Nihonsan is one of the only brick-and-mortar shops in the U.S. solely focused on selling Japanese woodworking hand tools and hardware. we are also a community offering Japanese woodworking classes, beginners’ kits, Hinoki lumber from Japan, as well as knowledge and guidance through our staff and community partners. If we don’t have what you want, we can probably point you in the right direction to find it.
Nihonsan was conceived by Joe Samalin and Shuya Iida of Hachi Collections, and his incredible team there. Chicago Japan Film Collective
The Chicago Japan Film Collective (CJFC) is proud to introduce Midwest to some of Japan’s most original voices and to provide unique international screening opportunities for these talented filmmakers. With a focus on work created by women, the LGBTQ community, and minority filmmakers, the festival aims to introduce Midwestern audiences to the best in independent Japanese cinema, including narrative, documentary, and animation. Through these films, we hope to connect Japanese and American cultures, create mutual understanding and respect, and expand exhibition and distribution possibilities within international, independent cinema.
